Quiet room: no noise from the street, fridge, or elevator (the room had a window to the back side, not to the street). Clean.

The style and design of the hotel both in the public areas and in the rooms was FANTASTIC. I absolutely loved it. It was clean, comfortable and gorgeous.

Ideally located: a variety of restaurants within 5 minutes walk; lovely Botanic Gardens 5 minutes in the other direction, with the excellent Art Gallery a couple of minutes further. Multi-storey car park close by, expensive even with the discount, but convenient. Hotel's breakfast was good, busy at peak times. Staff all helpful and knowledgeable.

The library on the ground floor provided a bright space for working, reading or socialising during the day. The breakfast hours were generous and the buffet included excellent quality bakery products and freshly squeezed orange.

Breakfast was excellent. Far better quality food than is often the case. All staff pleasant and both helpful and efficient. It’s a well run hotel without any nonsense. Great value.
