Great for people coming to visit the island on foot. You walk off the ferry, short walk to departure bay motel. Then hook up with Island bus link at the ferry terminal which connects you to the rest of the island. Very convenient, and cost effective

Good parking space - was able to park right in front of my room. Room had basic amenities. Mattress was just the right balance of firm and soft.

While the room was basic and dated, the towels and bedding were good quality, the room was clean, and the bed was newer and very comfortable. Staff were lovely. The room was quiet.

The lady who checked us in was friendly, efficient and helpful. The room was very clean and met our needs. The location is excellent if you are going to catch the ferry especially at 6:30 am!
