Lodges Overview

Nambiti Plains offers accommodation within the malaria-free Nambiti Big 5 Game Reserve. It boasts accommodation with panoramic views of the open plains. The swimming pool is often visited by elephants, and guests can enjoy game drives and walking safaris.
The suites feature thatched roofs, a veranda with outdoor seating and views, floor-to-ceiling windows and a large stone bath. All suites include air conditioning, bathrobes and slippers, tea-and-coffee making facilities and free WiFi.
Guests can enjoy the on-site bar and restaurant.
The swimming pool at Nambiti Plains has wrap around decks and overlooks the waterhole. Nambiti Plains offers two game drives daily and additional excursions, such as heritage tours, are available. Laundry services are available at an additional charge.

Offering views through floor-to-ceiling windows, this suite has private verandas furnished with a table and two chairs as well as two sun loungers. A canopy mosquito net covers the bed. The bathroom consist of a double vanity, large free-standing bath and in-door shower. A fully-stocked mini bar as well as tea-and-coffee-making facilities are available. The rate includes: -two daily game drives in an open safari vehicle (age restrictions apply for children) -breakfast, lunch and a 3-course dinner -selected beverages -high tea daily -complimentary water, juice, tea and coffee

The staff are excellent, very friendly and welcoming. The food was good, nice variety and plenty to eat - you will not go hungry! There are two game drives daily, some good animal sightings.

Nambiti Plains was truly amazing- the views, food, staff, and game drives were all exceptional. The staff were outstanding: attentive, friendly, and kind, making us feel incredibly welcome. It was also a pleasure to meet the team behind the scenes, like the chef who took our food orders - the food itself was excellent. Unfortunately, my husband fell ill before our arrival at Nambiti Plains, and I can't thank the staff and management enough for their support. They went above and beyond to make his stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Thank you all so much for your kindness and care! We highly recommend Nambiti Plains.

Very warm welcome and extremely friendly and lovely staff. Rooms were great, clean, spacious and with a beautiful view over the grasslands. Food was delicious and every meal was extra ordinary (we definitely recommend the ribs for lunch). We were lucky and saw 4 of the big 5, with 2 special encounters with elephant and lions.

We were treated like we were the only guests there. The staff through us a private dinner by candlelight and managed to fulfill every request we had. It was an amazing experience. Bronwyn was an amazing guide on our game drives!

The location was brilliant! Situated right next to a watering hole meant we got to breakfast and lunch while watching a variety of wildlife meander by to have a drink of water. The accomodation could not be faulted. We were upgraded to the honeymoon suite which was luxurious and spacious. Every need catered to! It also had an amazing vista view! The staff were exceptional! From Lungelo who took such great care of us at meal times, to Zanele the chef whose mouth watering creations we anticipated at each meal, to Betty and the other lady from management whose name I didn't get, who made sure our every need was met. And finally Jason - the brilliant field guide with whom we spent 6 hours a day on game drives. His knowledge of the bush was amazing. He taught us so many things about the flora and fauna of Nambiti and intuitively knew where to get the best wildlife sightings!

It has a spectacular vista across the plains so even when sitting on the verandah you can see animals and a beautiful view. The drives were fantastic and a highlight for me was sitting near a herd of elephants and just being with them, watching their interactions.

The lodges are beautiful, staff were incredibly helpful, and very friendly throughout our stay. The chefs and catering staff were very good with dietaries cooking additional options for my wife when there wasn’t anything on the menu for her. The pool and deck are great, and food was excellent. We had some great game drives and as we were leaving saw two cheetahs hunt and catch an impala right in front of the deck - an incredible safari experience!
