Staff are great. Super attentive and helpful. Rooms are fairly clean. Breakfast area at the back is spectacular - beautiful with huge trees. Some resident monkeys - even saw a family of visiting Colobus monkeys one morning (very cool), and some eagles. The resident animals will come for your food, so be aware you're sharing their space. Didn't use the pool but it's outdoor and under a gigantic bamboo plant (beautiful), so leaves get into it. Think they clean it regularly.

The trees and nearby forest with lots of monkeys around, the staff were also friendly, breakfast was good. Good water pressure and availability of hot water too. No air-conditioning, but the room was always cool

I loved the aesthetic of the room and the location. The bed was very comfy and the staff were all so friendly.

The building itself has its own charm; & definitely the green surrounding adds a picturesce old style feeling to its ambient. It was very quiet; even tough it was literally in the city center. Liked this part especially as the city can be buzzing & loud!

The garden is the best thing about this hotel: the forest, monkeys and birds! The staff and the breakfast also great. If you pay the price for Genius Member then is ok ( around 65 dollars), but their usual price of more than 100 dollars is not worth it . Bed was very comfy.
