This accommodation is centrally located and has English colonial charm amidst the sprawling urban high rises. Our room was spacious and was furnished with antiques of days gone by. The common rooms are spacious, perfect for those who want to chill, concentrate, write or read. Our hosts were gentile, gracious, and very communicative. Kiloran House is an oasis of green tranquility. What it may lack in modern amenities it makes up in charm and character. I'm glad I found this gem with such wonderful, warm hosts.

Great location, security good, quiet, 20 minute walk to YaYa shopping centre and easy to get downtown. Having the use of a kitchen was great, and a lovely balcony to sit and relax. Big shout out to host Adriel for his hospitality and assistance

“A Charming Colonial Oasis”

Kiloran House is an oasis of green with an English-style colonial manor in Nairobi. What it doesn't have in modern facilities, it makes up in charm and authenticity. You walk back in time, and enjoy the tranquility of green, lush gardens, in a fabulous location near to Karen and Lavington. We didn't make use of the kitchen but appreciated that we had access to one. Thankfully they had a large bed for my 6'2" Dutch husband.
