Cheerful and friendly owners who spoke excellent English (Google translate got a well-deserved break!). Convenient location near bus station, monorail station, shopping mall, shopping street and restaurants. Room equipped with all necessary appliances like fridge, kettle and washer-dryer.

Absolutely amazing stay at Kohala Hotel! The space here is huge, providing so much room to relax and unwind. Every single facility you could need is available, from essentials to the little extras that make the stay super comfortable. Plus, everything was spotless—the level of cleanliness here is top-notch. Kohala Hotel truly goes above and beyond to ensure a great experience. Easily a 10 out of 10!

Can’t really complain about anything! Everything was spotlessly clean and worked great. The room was functional, peaceful, well-equipped, and had plenty of space for one person. Especially loved the free en suite laundy machine and bath tub. It’s also really close to both Kokusaidōri and the bus terminal, so getting around town and the whole island is very convenient. The staff was also very kind and and helpful, though I didn’t see them much - it’s like living in your own apartment, except that you get the cleaning and front desk services of a hotel when you need them! Would 100 % stay here again - and it’s a great option for longer stays.
