The best Place I've ever stayed at. If you're thinking of coming to Nagano don't even think to go anywhere else! The host is really welcoming. We came back from a pretty tiring trip to snow monkey park with all the backpacks and when we got there we were pretty tired. The host offered us tea (free refill all the time) and helped us with the luggage. She was curious so we talked a bit. She gave us recommendations for places to eat at and see. The place we ate at was really cool (nihonmatsu). She even has cute pins, she understands backpackers needs! Anyway we got the Japanese style room and it was very nice! The futon was incredibly comfortable. And it really felt like living in a real Japanese house. Since it's a hostel it has shared bathroom and showers but that's what a hostel is. They were always clean.

The staff were all really friendly and helpful, loads of good tips and friendly chat. The other travellers were all really friendly too. The location was great, the facilities and comfort were awesome. Felt very cosy and at home here.
