Hotel Overview

Polyxenia is an 1850, restored mansion set in one of the scenic alleys of Nafplio. It offers traditionally furnished rooms with free Wi-Fi just a few minutes’ walk from the central Syntagma Square. Homemade breakfast is served in the morning.
Decorated with respect to the local style, the air-conditioned rooms at Polyxenia feature wrought-iron beds and wooden furnishings. They come with a flat-screen TV, DVD player, coffee machine and mini fridge. In the en-suite bathroom, you will find free toiletries.
Arvanitia Beach is 100 metres away, and the centre of Nafplio is 400 metres away. At 200 metres, you can reach the Archaeological Museum of Nafplio, as well as the seaside promenade. A taxi rank and the main bus station are only 20 metres away. Within a short walk, you can also find traditional taverns and charming cafes.

Amazing location in a cute street right in the old town part of the city with everything nearby: bakeries, shops and restaurants. The hotel is in a historic building and the hosts have been super nice and helpful for our whole stay. They suggested us an excellent restaurant for our first night and offered umbrellas the day it started raining. We loved it so much we extended our stay for another day. Perfect

Perfect central location to see all the Old Town and places of interest. We arrived by bus, the bus station is around the corner, so very convenient. The owners are very friendly. The breakfast is plentiful. The room and house and old style and beautiful.

very central and the two lady owners (sisters) were always available and helpful. very clean and good quality sheets etc. comfortable bed we didn’t try the breakfast but saw it looked nice and other guests were very complimentary

The staff! It was a pleasure to meet the owner after about 15 years 😀. The room was spacious and very clean. Hotel is located in a historic centre, close to restaurants and shops. It is a perfect spot to start on foot trip to Palamidi Fortress. The Bus station is just round the corner.

I hotel was in the center of the action. It was very close to the bus drop off. I was close to many nice restaurants near the water. I was greeted warmly. The lobby is like a family living room. I was given the key to come and go. Breakfast was in the pretty alley with donuts and and egg. A toasted cheese and ham sandwich seems to be a local addition. The bathroom was magnificent! It had a deep bathtub ... that I soaked in. There were interesting items on the stairs and landings. Care had been taken in the decorating. There was a nice air conditioning unit.
