The hostel is very clean and modern. It has everything you need! Bed was super comfortable and staff really friendly. She recommended me to go to a local restaurant that served a set of tuna (which Katsuura is famous for) and I absolutely loved it.

Best location, 5 seconds walk from station! Staff are nice and good English. Meet friends here. The dormitory is mix but good design in a very simple and natural way. I like the tiny square window at my bed.

Despite the confined (but comfy) space you're relegated to there was a solid sense of privacy. I think it was a full dorm (6-7 other people) during my stay but it was surprisingly quiet and everyone was respectful of each other's space. The shower and restroom are separated from the sleeping quarter so it stays surprisingly quiet throughout the night. Staff is friendly, accommodating, and fluent in English. As seen in the photos, the sleeping space for the dormitory is quiet small but I (5'7'') was able to sleep very comfortably with room to spare. For a short term stay as a solo traveler, this place can't be beat.

Very close to train and bus station (e.g. to Nachi Taisha and Nachi waterfall). Nice hostel from young owners .

Great staff, clean hostel. The location is just next to the train station and the bus ticket/station to Nachi waterfalls and Seigantoji. The morning tuna market is 10 minutes walk.
