Perfect location, we have a room with crater view! Very warm staff, breakfast was on top. Very rich selection, you can made your own waffle.

Very comfortable room, clean and good sized; great staff taking care of guests; exceptional buffet breakfast with gluten and diary free options (I don’t need it, but it’s very considerate). Restaurant vas very good too.

Loved our stay at Sel - Hotel Mývatn. The rooms were extremely cosy, and the beds were very comfortable. The pool table and dartboard were good fun. We enjoyed a fabulous evening meal at their buffet table, and the following morning, the breakfast was equally delicious. A good stay.

This is an ideal location for viewing the lake and surrounding areas. The view of the lake from our room was amazing. The hotel and rooms are to a good standard even if they seem a little outdated.

Awesome view from the room, great location. Loved the hot tubs and the bathrobes. Free coffee in the lobby. Good breakfast.
