On the second day of our trip to Iceland, we had an accident and our 11 years old son got in Reykjavik hospital with a facial fracture. We could not travel north and I notified the guesthouse office very last minute. They were simply amazing and cancelled our non-refundable booking. So caring and understanding. Also, upfront communication was really good to ensure the facilities meet expectations. As you understand, we did not stay at the hotel, but we really hope to travel there in the nearest future to experience the facilities and meet their friendly and welcoming team.

I recently stayed at this place and had a fantastic experience. Everything was just as described in the offer. The room was exactly what I expected—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to others looking for a great place to stay

A cozy cabin in the wilderness with stunning natural views and an amazing breakfast. The scenery outside the breakfast window changes beautifully with the weather—sunny, cloudy, or snowy. The staff is friendly, and there's even an adorable dog raised by the park that comes running to the cabin door when it smells something nice (they notify guests in advance and ask not to let the dog inside). Though the cabin's kitchen ventilation isn’t the best and the main door doesn’t lock (not that anyone seems to worry about it), it still feels very comfortable.

Beautiful location close to the lake and to the attractions of the area. The cottages are warm and very well equipped. The staff is SUPER and they were very helpful with us.

Super nice cottage, well furnished. Comfortable beds and everything is neat! The hot tub is a plus but it was really hot.

Dogs, location just beside lake, good spot overall, even the kitchen in small chalet was adequate. Staff extremely responsive, made our rooms first as we had arrived early! Thank you so much.
