The location is great, right in the centre of the town. It's just a short walk from the castle and many other places on the coast.

We had a wonderful stay at the Schoolmistress. The place is very well kept, the rooms are clean and spacious enough and offer breathtaking views of Molyvos. The owner, Yorgos Chatzitheologou, is a great host as well. He made sure we were happy about our stay, and was very helpful when we had questions/requests about the Schoolmistress and Molyvos in generla. We are definitely going back there again next year. I just can’t recommend the Schoolmistress enough!

The location of the house was very good. But don't drive to the front of the facility like we did. There are authentic and narrow streets, a parking lot by the sea, you can park there and walk to the facility. We stayed in a room on the garden floor facing the back. The sea view from the upper floors is very nice. It was nice that we had the opportunity to have breakfast in the garden under the shade of a tree.

Most wonderfully located, you almost would not want to leave just because of the mesmerizing view, which you will not get tired of. The name made me curious and eventually got the novel the guesthouse is named after and I am thankful for the reading experience. The host is very friendly most helpful. It all over was a wonderful experience. My room was on the side and had a little balcony looking out on the sea, but shaded by a huge fir(?) tree. I never needed the A/C only closed the shutters while I was gone and opened them when I returned. Mattresses were comfortable, there was a fridge in the room, that I did not use. I really enjoyed my stay there, loved the relaxed atmosphere. I mentioned the view, but leaving the Guesthouse wasn’t any less spectacular - as you would find yourself amidst wisteria covered lanes the moment you close the door behind yourself, I can only imagine how fairytale like that must look in spring. A stone throw away you will find a traditional bakery and a mini-market. You can prepare your own breakfast in the communal kitchen. I would love to come back! Thank you for a special experience!

It was an amazing stay. Yorgo is very kind, helpful host. Even we booked in a last minute, the room was nice, without no view but has terrace. We used public balconies to watch sunset and the location is in perfect place. And most importantly-it was quite, directly in most popular street but no noise.

My stay at The Schoolmistress with the Golden Eyes was lovely! The host was amiable and helpful, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment. The balcony offers a breathtaking and picturesque view of the ocean. The accommodation is close to the Molyvos castle, beach, bakery, restaurants, harbour and local stores.
