The Flåm Railway stops at the Vatnahalsen Station, the stop after Myrdal Station, 50 metres from the hotel. Guests coming by other trains from Flåm need to get off at the stop before Myrdal Station.During winter, it's not possible to walk to the hotel from Myrdal.

The location is so special, unique and very quiet. We stayed here by chance because we couldn’t get accommodation in Flam, and we were SO glad. The hike around the lakes was so beautiful, and you can also bike around very easily. The restaurant served a wonderful dinner and breakfast (both buffet). All the staff were also SO wonderful, helpful and friendly.

The location was excellent, only a few meters from the Vatnalhasen station, with superb views of the waterfall, lake and surroundings. The hotel was of its time, but comfortable, warm and welcoming with so many places to sit and relax. The buffet dinner was delicious and varied and the breakfast set us up for the day.
