The staff were so welcoming and a pleasure to deal with. This is a traditional hotel and the beds were so comfortable. There are fantastic restaurants just across the road, bars down the street and a short walk to either the first ski lift or the buses to the other resorts.

Delicious food, great location, extremely kind and accomodating hosts, really nice rooms and comfortable beds. It was so great having an onsen each night after a long day skiing. Can't recommend enough! We had such a great stay at Hunter Lodge and will come back if we visit Myoko again.

We stayed at Hunter Lodge on a whim and we are glad we did. The rooms we booked included a traditional flare but had plenty of power outlets, a television, exceptional heaters, and slightly more western style beds. Even with travelling in a group we had plenty of space in our room for 3 ski bags. Breakfast was a combination of various food items and would vary between traditional Japanese food & western food each morning and no matter what we ate everything was delicious! A traditional onsen was also clean and very user friendly. The lodge owners and their hospitality was unmatched and we couldn’t recommend this place enough.
