I liked the room on the ground floor and it was not so far from the parking place. The location of the hotel is calm and quiet, which is something I very much appreciate. And the staff are always very friendly and helpful. The food at the INCONTRO is ALWAYS delicious!

The staff! So friendly and welcoming! Truly exceptional. The hotel itself was very nice and comfortable, judging from outside. It looks more like a condominium or training center (which partly is). The beds were very comfortable, I slept like a baby. And the surrounding area was very quiet. My highlight was the check out, but since I don’t want to spoil, you need to stay over. All over great experience.

This hotel is quite functional, rather than boutique, trendy, or luxurious. It is conveniently located just moments away from the exhibition centre in Basel, making it ideal for business travellers. The hotel was clean and relatively empty during our stay, which was on a Sunday. However, we encountered some significant issues upon arrival. There was no one to welcome us or assist when I couldn’t find the code to access our room. Despite sending a text message requesting the code, I never received a response. Fortunately, I eventually found the code in my emails, but had I not, we would have been left without a room. This lack of support is very concerning and potential guests should be aware of this. Additionally, we struggled to find the Wi-Fi code and it appeared that Wi-Fi was not free of charge, though we might be mistaken. Our stay was brief; we were at the exhibition centre all day, returned to sleep, and left early the next morning. Consequently, we never encountered any staff during our visit. The hotel itself was quiet and spacious, which was a positive aspect of our stay.
