The manager and his staff were really helpful. The hotel is in a beautiful location. The rooms are a good size and we had a beautiful view of the mountains from the rear balcony. The building itself is a gem.

We were upgraded to "their best room" due to an issue with our booking, and it was really great. The balcony had a view down over the canopy, and the front of the room opened onto a walkway veranda looking straight at the plantation. The food in the restaurant was also excellent. The staff in the restaurant friendly, and helped us order as well. In the mornings, they offer a free walking tour around the plantation, and the guide explained all the plants to us and their dog even came for the ride. It was great to walk amongst the tea trees and learn about all the history. One evening we were taken in a tuktuk by the guy working at the hotel to a viewpoint amongst tea trees and managed to take some amazing photos. The guy was a bit drunk and talking a lot, but the view was worth it.

Loved the authenticity of this hotel . It was very comfortable and relaxed. The staff were attentive kind and helpful.
