I was on a business trip, and I needed a convenient location close to the metro lines I needed to take. But even for a touristic visit, the location is actually very convenient. I was surprised at how efficient the hotel was, and it had a very good breakfast in the morning that I really enjoyed. The single room I had was not large, but it had everything I needed and was very practical.

The hotel is an ok option in a very good location in the university area of Munich. It is quite 'old fashioned' but clean and tidy. The people were very polite and nice with us.

Classic old school hotel. They don’t make them like this anymore. We only passed a day in München but it was well worth it

Very comfortable and very friendly. Slightly old fashioned but none the worse for that. Good air con, shower fine, bed comfy. Felt secure, with a nice atmosphere. On a street full of trendy cafes(not noisy, my room was well sound-proofed) and rather polite student bars. The university area is north of the centre with the main art galleries, the Residence, and right next to the English Garden. A really nice area with metro station or a pleasant fifteen minute walk to the old town centre. No need to stay anywhere else.

Great location, very helpful and friendly staff, excellent breakfast. I booked the hotel in emergency after missing my flight at Munich Airport and it proved to be excellent choice. I will happily stay here again when visiting LMU.

It was very clean, cozy, close to many attractions in the city, close to the metro, there are many good restaurants in the neighborhood.
