Hostel Overview

This modern hostel with a 24-hour reception is situated in Munich's Thalkirchen district, a 5-minute walk from Munich Zoo and a 10-minute underground ride from Munich’s city centre.
Rooms at the HI Munich Park Hostel include a private bathroom and bed sheets. Free WiFi is available in the whole building.
A breakfast buffet is served each morning at the Munich Park. Lunch and dinner are also available here. Lunch packs can be organised.
Thalkirchen Underground Station is just 400 metres from the HI Munich. Several peaceful, green parks are within a 30-minute walk.

Guests need to be a member of the DJH/HI (Hostelling International). Membership cards can be purchased at reception on arrival. Annual membership costs for German guests are as follows: EUR 7 for guests up to the age of 26 EUR 22.50 for families or guests aged 27 and over. Membership fees for international guests (non-members): EUR 3.50 per person/night (max. 6 nights) EUR 18.00 for one year. No agelimit.
Guests arriving with children must inform the property in advance. Fees apply and vary depending on the children's age.
Parking only for cars. (no bus, trailer, lorry, Sprinter)

The Staff were friendly and accessible. The place is at an idle location, about five Minute walk from Bus and Railway Transport. Also the Zoo is about 5 to 7 Minute walk away.

It's 4 stops away from visiting Oktoberfest by U Bahn, if we're coming back for another visit for Oktoberfest we'll definitely stay here again. Very nice to have breakfast every morning.

The bathrooms connected to the rooms were perfect! Also the bunk beds were very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was also very good

This was fine for a two night stay for Oktoberfest. Staff were friendly and helpful. There was plenty to choose from for breakfast. There was restaurant’s within walking distance.

The hostel beds were comfortable and breakfast had plenty options. The staff were very friendly and offered heaps of information on Oktoberfest. Short train ride into the city centre.

Clean. Pleasant area and very close to U Bahn. Into city centre in 14 minutes . Excellent breakfast offs and great value for money for a family of five .
