Really lovely and welcoming staff, including the owner, all perfectly speaking English Great breakfast and also really good dinner ( dinner is very expensive compared to other restaurants but also very good) very clean rooms and a lovely view from the balcony on the Mekong river, also far away from the turbulent center of Pakbeng.

Great location and very nice room. All mod cons and very comfortable bed. Balcony with view onto Mekong was fabulous.

The location is amazing with stunning views over & down the Mekong. The pool area is lovely & the staff garden is beautiful. The rooms are very comfortable. Meals were good. We liked the philosophy of the lodge. Seeing elephants at the sanctuary opposite the lodge bathing in the Mekong during the day was a bonus! We liked it so much we extended our stay.

beautiful peaceful hotel with kind and attentive staff. THE FOOD… one of the best meals we had during our trip in SE Asia. if you are staying for 1 night during your trip down the Mekong, then certainly eat at the restaurant instead of going into the town. sitting on the balcony watching sunset over Mekong is very special.

We were met by staff at the boat pier and taken back the next day free of charge. On arrival, we were met by the manager and staff who checked us in promptly. Everything was explained perfectly and we were taken to our room. The room was beautiful and was exceptionally clean. The balcony looked over the mekong. We chose the set menu in the restaurant. The food was delicious. Also, a glass of red wine 🍷 . Breakfast was equally as tasty. Wonderful experience.

Picked up from slow boat terminal free of charge. Fabulous accommodation. Pool open till 10pm. Great food in restaurant. Overlooked Elephant park and saw Elephant going down to the river whilst we were having breakfast.
