The people that worked there were so kind and helpful! The owner went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed while staying there. It was also very cheap and good location; it was no problem walking to the centre (15 mins). We would 100% recommend this place

the reason El Peregrino has such a high raising is Jose. As soon as we arrived he went out of his way to make us feel extremely welcome & do anything he could to help us maximise our time on the Island. Thank you for looking after us Jose!

We loved our stay! José helped us to rent the scooter, gave us informations about the activities in Ometepe and found us a guide for the volcano. The room get cleaned everyday and the kitchen was well furnished! One of best place to stay in Nicaragua for sure

The owner is very friendly and he got out of his way to help us transport on our departure day. The place is beautiful and chill, surrounded by nature and overlooking the volcano.

Enjoyed our stay here. The host Jose is a really friendly and welcoming guy, he helped us organise a scooter rental with ease and gave us advice on good spots on the island. The property is awesome, great views of Volcan Concepcion, really good kitchen facilities for making your own food, everything was clean! There are fruit trees on the property which you can pick your own (coconuts and citrus fruits). Would recommend.

Really nice place to stay. Access to a pool table and water and hammocks! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Also next to a hostel that serves very good food.

Super friendly staff, very helpful with arranging mopeds delivered direct to the hostel, comfortable beds. Amazing view of the volcano. They also very kindly looked after our bags for a couple of days when we explored the rest other half of the island.

Jose was an amazing host, very genuine and helpful. The cleaning lady was also extremely friendly and helpful with anything you needed. The rooms were large with a big bathroom and the bed was large and very comfortable. Note: on the island on frequent occasions water does go off, however, each bathroom does have a full tub of water for a shower which was filled everyday which we appreciated. The kitchen was very well equipped and there was fresh coffee every morning which Jose made. The communal area was large and the views on the 2nd floor over concepcion volcano was amazing especially at sunset. Jose made you feel very comfortable and felt like it was your home.

The best view of the volcano for sunset! It's always in clouds in the morning so it's the nicest view considering the sun is shining on it in the evenings. Advisable to have scooter to move around because there is nothing close. We took a tuktuk but you have to call one every time you want to go somewhere. Owner is helpful and will call you one if you need. Kitchen good enough for cooking. Nice place to do yoga with a view!
