We will stay here again on our next trip through Mt. Airy. Very friendly staff. Comfortable. Very good value. I appreciated the option of the small discount offered for using cash rather than a credit card. We stayed here last year for one night as well.

Comfortable beds, spacious room with fridge/microwave & coffee machine. I can’t give a lot of info as arrived late & tired. Stayed in room and left when we got up. Didn’t go into reception for coffee etc.

Small vintage motel just outside town like that I can park right outside the door The A/c worked well Clean Grab and go breakfast items Room had micro/frig Grassy areas very close for dogs Good value for the money Was great for one night passing thru on a road trip

We recently stayed at the Andy Griffith Parkway Inn, owned by Rodney, and had a truly memorable experience. While the hotel isn't fancy, it is comfortable, convenient, and incredibly welcoming. We encountered a car incident that delayed our arrival, causing us to miss our first night's stay. Despite this being out of our control, Rodney was amazing and refunded that night without us even asking. His apologetic and understanding nature made an otherwise rough situation much better. This was a side trip for our family, and it's places like Andy Griffith Parkway Inn that make travel so enjoyable. They are dog-friendly, and we were able to bring along our two good-sized Labs with no issues. If you're looking for a place that feels like home, with exceptional customer service, I highly recommend staying here.

Property staff were incredibly welcoming. The room was comfortable and had all the basic amenities. The access to the Mt Airy greenway was nice and allowed us to bike around en route to the city.
