Montavùn Istria , wow what a beautiful town , this hotel is just amazing, very friendly staff ,very professional, lovely atmosphere in the hotel ,beautiful view from room of courtyard and outside dining, the location is spectacular however the staff made it even better 😀 thank you so very much to hotel for making our stay so memorable 😀

Montavùn Istria , wow what a beautiful town , this hotel is just amazing, very friendly staff ,very professional, lovely atmosphere in the hotel ,beautiful view from room of courtyard and outside dining, the location is spectacular however the staff made it even better 😀 thank you so very much to hotel for making our stay so memorable 😀

Room was great and clean. Breakfast we were able to get it early at 7:30am as I needed to leave the place by 8:15am. The breakfast had scramble eggs with truffles, which was the only place in Croatia that we had this for breakfast. The facilities were good, as there was a pool at the basement and the location was excellent for Motovun.

Lovely old hotel in top of town.Comfortable room with all mod cons.Best view from window over town and valley.Breakfast included was very good.We ate dinner at the restaurant which was delicious also.Wonderful experience staying somewhere like this,once in a lifetime.

Superb location. If you visited Motovun for a day you would never guess this place had a swimming pool. Staff were super friendly and very accommodating. This is not a modernised hotel, but it is all the better for it. The food was great though there are a number of amazing restaurants nearby, what is on offer at Hotel Kastell certainly gives a good accounting of itself. Gellato stand serving ice cream till late, an Aura shop selling amazing local alcohol attached to the hotel, a swimming pool and wellness suite accessible without stepping for outside the hotel & a decent breakfast to boot. Definitely, hope to stay again.

Wonderful hotel perched on a hill in Motovun with stunning views. The breakfast was delicious, the staff were exceptionally kind, and the facilities were well-maintained. We especially enjoyed waking up to the serene atmosphere and savoring my morning coffee with a beautiful view. Highly recommend staying here!
