Barbara was a great host. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, the location was perfect, and we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay in beautiful Motovun.

A very spacious, comfortable apartment with wonderful views to the west from the large balcony. There is also a garden for guests to use. This was a good location for us as we could easily walk or cycle from the property. The "parenzana" walking and cycling trail is very close. There is a bus every 30 mins which goes to the top of the hill where all the restaurants are. There is a supermarket opposite the apartment which sells all the basics.

Great location at the base of Motovun to explore the town and for traveling around Istria. Supermarket is across the road and you can walk to winery's. We had the unit close to the road which is noisy during the day with traffic but quiet during the night. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking.

We were a group of 4 friends who rented both apartments in the house. The lower apartment has a spectacular terrace overlooking the valley, surrounded by a lovely garden - we all spent a lot of time there. The upper apartment has a small terrace that mainly overlooks the adjacent apartment building - so not much of a view. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The house is located at the bottom of the hill leading up to Motovun, amd parking is available.. There is a shuttle bus that goes up the hill to the old town in the daytime. We drove up in the evenings for dinner and had no problem finding parking near the entrance to the old town (but we were not there in high season). There is a supermarket opposite, which was handy, and several wineries in the vicinity. We all really enjoyed out time in Motovun.
