The level of detail given to making the accommodation welcoming, comfortable and memorable as well as its historical connection to the family. The view was also lovely. Marcus made us feel well cared for when we arrived.

The Manor House Sakrisoy Gjestegard is in our opinion the best place to stay in the lower Lofoten area. Wonderful views of Reine, the whole Mountain range and Hamnoy. We had a great conversation with Jack the Manager, who gave us also some valuable tips on the best places to spot the northern lights. If you want to spoil yourself book the Suite Olstind Mountain. That's truly one of a kind accommodation. Thanks again Jack, we hope to meet you on the road one day!

Very well located between Hamnoy and Reine with beautiful views. The hotel is a large house with many rooms on various floors. Nice facilities with fridge and cooking/eating spaces which is super useful as the choice of restaurants is very limited in the area.

We stayed in a room on the top floor with a private bathroom. The views from both rooms were amazing, and the bathroom was beautiful with great local products to use. We were able to make a filling breakfast every morning and it was nice to also have coffee/tea available in our room. Jack at reception was a wealth of knowledge about hikes in the area and gave us great advice for maximizing our time in Lofoten.

Great location close to Reine town and Reinebringen trailhead. Very friendly and helpful staff. The host Jack helped to plan activities around the area and gave necessary advice and tips that made my trip easier. Well maintained property , extremely comfortable. You also get to meet fellow travellers in the communal areas.
