The rooms were very clean and the staff was really nice. They took us one evening to their new accommodation, where you can see the Kilimanjaro and we drank a beer. The accommodation is not ready yet but it is a really beautiful place.

I highly recommend both the host and the accommodation! The host was incredibly welcoming, and the breakfast was fantastic—delicious and plentiful. We originally booked a twin room, but due to an issue with the booking system, the host’s system didn’t reflect our reservation accurately. However, the host was very accommodating and kindly provided us with two single rooms instead. The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, and everything was exceptionally clean. Although the accommodation isn’t located in the city center, getting around was easy with tuk-tuks readily available. The value for money was excellent. We also booked a waterfall and coffee-making tour through them, which was a wonderful experience. Overall, a great stay!

My stay was great here. Hosts Anderson and Opendu are very helpful and caring all through my stay. They arranged local site seeing and Kilimanjaro hike at very affordable prices. I am definitely going to recommend Kisanga homestay to my family and friends. Very Nazuri !!!

The owner is phenomenal! She helped us with so many things: organized a motorbike for a very good price, transfers, bus tickets, stored our luggage while we went on mount kili and so much more. You’ll love the homestay because you’re gonna feel like home from the first minute on. The breakfast is great and we got a different fresh juice every morning. I can’t recommend this place enough and will come back soon! It’s may not in walking distance to the city center, but the owner will get you a ride and all the effort she puts in, will more than make up for it.
