I've stayed in many a seaside B&B over the years, and don't have particularly high expectations beyond basic cleanliness, a bed to sleep in and a shower. However, as soon as I was greeted by the wonderful Jo (the owner) and was blown away by her charming personality, I knew I was about to stay somewhere a bit special. The single room was perfect, with a large window looking straight out over the bay and Marine Road below. Tea, coffee (real & instant) and hot chocolate were provided, as were a hand towel & bath towel plus soap & shower gel. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was beautifully made and comfortable. I literally couldn't have asked for anything more. Breakfast was outstanding, with much to choose from, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. However, it was Jo herself who made my stay a next-level experience. Polite, chatty, bubbly, very friendly and outgoing and nothing was too much trouble. Yacht Bay View was inconveniently placed for the event I was in Morecambe for (Corrosion Goth Festival at the Alhambra), which was entirely on me for not checking the distance, but I'm coming back next year and will 1000% be returning to Yacht Bay View. Far and away the best B&B I have stayed in.

It was so clean with lovely furnishings, overlooking Morecambe bay. The staff were friendly and helpful, will definitely stay again.

We were met at the door by a very friendly attentive host who showed us to our large room which was on the front and overlooking the bay so we had wonderful views. It was clean with a large comfortable bed and pillows. There was a fridge in the room which was very useful. There was a very good variety on offer for breakfast and it was all perfectly cooked. When I washed my hair it was nice that the plug socket was near the mirror so I could see what I was doing! Little things like that make life so much easier when you are travelling. Nothing seemed too much trouble and the house had a real homely feel. I would definitely recommend this property.

So clean , comfortable and a welcoming host . Lots of little finishing touches like a fridge in the room , wine glasses, tea towel , tissues, binoculars for bird watching and the views. Also great hospitality tray with high quality coffees etc. Sea view was lovely with comfy chairs in the bay window. Host is lovely , very warm and welcoming . Fabulous breakfast . Very comfy bed and lovely white fluffy towels.

The breakfast was excellent and the dining room /tv room had a very comfortable sofa personally I used it as a reading and rest room it was lovely and quiet. The house was very clean tidy and welcoming.
