I liked everything about the property! As a “self-catering” venue it lacked Absolutely Nothing! I have never stayed in “self-catering” where the owners have provided not just a couple of t-bags and sachets of milk and sugar, but an entire jar of coffee, milk in the fridge for us, whole packet of t-bags, paper serviettes, kitchen paper towel and decent washing up liquid! I know these are all small little things but their provision is very thoughtful and makes such a difference. The house itself is very spacious and has a super open fire which is great for chilly Midlands evenings (wood provided!) Also provided is a heater for every bedroom and electric blankets for all beds. There is a small private garden, the bird life is incredible and you have distant views of Giant’s Castle. The Owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome and to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Highly Recommended!

close to the main road, very comfortable living area very cozy, everything needed for self-catering was available. More than enough wood for the fireplace on a coldish weekend. We enjoyed bird watching from the living room window.
