Hotel Overview

"Located in the coastal resort town of Montrose, Grey Harlings is a family run hotel offering relaxing and cosy stays. There are 9 stunning bedrooms to choose from, some with views over the historic Montrose Golf Links - the 5th oldest course in the world! WiFi access and on-site parking are free.
From the property, Montrose Train Station is less than a mile away, Montrose Bay is a short 5-minute journey on foot from the property and St Cyrus Natural Reserve is an 11-minute drive away. An array of activities can be enjoyed in the surrounding local area - Montrose Golf Links is right on our doorstep!
We have a car park on site at the hotel. Bicycle storage is available at two outdoor racks located in the courtyard and car park. Indoor storage is not available at this time.
We are operating on a ROOM ONLY basis. There is not a restaurant or bar service available at the hotel.

“Wonderful staff, brilliant breakfast and very comfortable room”

Linda and Lauren were extremely friendly , helpful and thoughtful. Breakfast was excellent and they went out of their way to cater for our needs. Bar prices were very reasonable and the free pool was great. The bed was comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean.

Everything went well. The friendliness of the staff. Never had a pre-booked breakfast before however, it worked for us great service when we came down. What topped it for us was it was not a large hotel but a bespoke.

Montrose was not our first choice for the east coast. but we were absolutely happy with the hotel! the location is fantastic, next to a golf course, but what is even better: only a few hundred meters from the marvelous beach. staff was super nice. breakfast was great too! this is a very nice location to start several coastal hiking tours.
