A lovely little hotel overlooking the River Loire. Moderate sized room, decorated in a nice traditional French style. As this is a Logis de France hotel, we ate in the restaurant which though decorated in a modern style, is comfortable and friendly. Most importantly the food is exceptional!

The room for which we were given keys was very small and dark, with a small window high in the wall. The owner/manager was very receptive when I asked if we could upgrade and we moved to a room with a wonderful view. The auberge was, literally, across the road from the Loire and both the room and the shower room looked onto the river where the fishermen were standing on their small boats and the flocks of starlings, that nested in the eaves, were swooping and feeding. Dinner was good and the bed very comfortable.

Fantastic position. Delightful staff. Patron was very friendly and helpful. Fantastic dinner, superb local produce lovingly presented. Excellent local wine and advice. They care and should be very proud.
