When we drove up to the Blue Motor Inn, my heart sank. It is on the road, and the doors to the rooms didn't look very inviting. But what a little gem it turned out to be! The room is of a good size, recently refurbished with wooden floors, lovely bathroom with fluffy white towels and lots of attention to detail like nicely folded towels and well selected soaps. Fridge and microwave both new. Breakfast was not included, but the onsite cafe serves lots of varieties of coffees and teas, and wonderful muffins and cakes. The staff were very helpful, nice and cheerful and made us feel very welcome. We would stay there again without hesitation.

A lovely place to stay near the Needles district of Canyonlands and a nice alternative for Moab. The staff is exceptionally friendly. We had a wonderful time here.

I liked the small details that made the room very comfortable. The position is good if you are visiting the different National Parks in the west (especially Canyonlands and Arches). The motel is on the road, and I was worried there might be too much noise, but I didn't notice this issue. For those who are more sensitive, I can recommend earplugs just in case, but I don't think they are necessary. I recommend this place because it was very clean.

In a great position for travel around the National Parks of Utah. Very reasonable price for a night. Clean and bright with quirky retro touches. Helpful friendly staff.

Clean , bright and spacious room/sheets. The washroom was very clean as well. There were enough towels provided and they smelled fresh. The town of Monticello is small and this is the perfect place to stay for 1 night if you are transiting through the city.
