Lovely hotel, rooms had everything we could need including fridge and safe and good hot shower. Wonderful city view from terrace on roof. Right near shops and cafes. Staff super nice.

Pretty balcony. Old style but charming. Very welcoming hotel receptionists. Spooky cool elevator.

The balcony - it was bigger than the room! Location is good to walk to downtown area ... but...the Old City is dangerous at night (but the hotel felt safe). Room was clean. No breakfast but coffee and a croissant were available. Price was reasonable especially given how expensive Montevideo is. Good AC - likely because the room was so small. Room was quiet as requested, although because it's an older building, the sound does travel.

The room was comfortable and spacious. There was a TV with the Netflix app and a mini-fridge. The location was good to see the old town. The staff were friendly. The place looks great, with character and an old elevator.

Location. Old colonial building with charming original features. Didn’t serve breakfast, but had complimentary tea/coffee and pastries in the morning. Our room had a nice big balcony which was nice to sit out on and have a glass of wine in the evening.

Quaint, clean and reasonable prices for a central location. Staff friendly and helpful but limited English spoken. We would definitely stay again!

This rustic hotel is beautifully located in central Montevideo, close to plenty of amenities. Our room was very clean and comfortable and staff helpful and friendly.

Nothing at all modern about this place, which is its attraction. Family run and great location on the border of the old and new city. 24 hour front desk.
