The host is a great guy. Jovial, friendly and helpful ... The lodging is somewhat Spartan but this is in line with the Masseria concept. I fell in love with his little mutt named Nili, his blue/gray Vietnamese pigs, the chickens and the goose (geese). Located in a very out of the way location. BTW, i reccomend that you go to Ginosa for dinner. It is wild to see the whole town out at night walking 🚶♀️ talking and generally quite pleased with themselves ... and why not?? I am glad we made the effort to stay here and then to go to Matera. Another gem.

Impressive room, nice breakfast and really nice host family. Location is in a bit local side but the environment around the facility is very good to make us relax. We felt we should stay a few more days here. Will absolutely come back when we visit south Italy.
