This is a brilliant hotel right in the middle of Monterey. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast great. The design of the hotel is quirky and historic which we loved. The family room (2 doubles and a sofa bed) was large and a good space for a family of 4. We opted to put the kids on the large sofa bed and to have a small double bed each as these beds would have been cosy for 2 adults (just a heads up!). It’s easy to walk to all the key areas in town and is near lots of great restaurants and attractions. Our kids were delighted to see sea otters just steps away from the hotel. The free parking is also great. We loved our stay here and felt it was great value for money!

The breakfast is delicious, and the hotel's geographical location is particularly good. The price is also moderate, and the hotel's facilities are complete.

Good location in walking distance to Cannary Row Nice breakfast. A little better than what we experienced from other budget-hotels on our roadtrip Nice space in our room.

Friendly welcome from Sanjay at the front desk. We had a newly refurbished room which was spacious and beautifully decorated. Bathroom also spacious. Lots of plugs and USB ports. Excellent location - short stroll to Cannery Row and Monterey Bay Aquarium and right next to antique mall. Breakfast was simple (with many pre-made products) but adequate.
