This was perhaps our fourth stay here in the last 15 years. If there was a medal for consistency, Ivana and Gio would win it every time. Meuble is a gem in the heart of Tuscany, and when ever we are in Italy, we make sure to go out of our way to stay there at least two nights. We love Montepulciano, and Meuble il Riccio is a large part of that! Thank You Ivana and Gio!

Everything! The view from room 4 was amazing. Ivana, Cristina, and Mary were so friendly and kind, as was the gentleman who owns the hotel.

This is an historic house just off Piazza Grande - it was actually once the residence of Saint Robert Bellarmine, known for challenging Gallileo. The house has a beautiful arched courtyard with steps up to the breakfast room on the first floor. Access to the rooms was via another entrance with a slow but effective lift. There's a lovely rooftop terrace lined with pots of geraniums.

The position was perfect and the views from the room balconies were spectacular. The room was clean and the family were really helpful. Breakfast was nice but was 10E each extra

Make sure you book a room with a view - it is spectacular. What a way to wake up - open the shutters, step out onto the balcony and watch the sun rise over the town. Montepulciano is the perfect base for exploring nearby towns and Meuble il Riccio is a perfectly located hotel. The breakfast options are good and you are assured of parking.

Upon arrival, the staff was very helpful in telling us about the hotel and showing us to our room as well as how to get around the city and provided us with a map and some helpful points to stop at along the way. The homemade breakfast was wonderful and we couldn’t get enough of the view from our room! We will definitely be back!

What a location! right in the middle of the most beautiful village bit of you choose certain rooms (number 33!) you have a balcony with an expansive view over the countryside that is breath taking. The bed was comfortable (extra pillows in the wardrobe) the spiral staircase to the upper loft bedroom for our daughter was great to give some privacy. The bathroom is newly renovated and has yet another view! There is a lift available to get your luggage up to the room levels but you will need to park in the corner of Piazza Grande and roll your bags a very short distance to the reception. Definitely book here if you’re planning to stay in Montepulciano!
