When I arrived I was greeted by the smiling Amedeo who gave me the option of staying in this building or one nearby. I chose the one nearby as it had more suitable storage for the bicycle I'd rented. Amedeo was very pleasant and helpful, and went to get his car so he could drive me to the other building as I had some heavy bags with me. He showed me around a huge apartment which was super clean and fully equipped. It had a full kitchen with a large fridge-freezer, oven and dishwasher. The bathroom was nice and big with a large shower. The bed room had a huge double bed and a massive walk-in closet. Living room had a nice large smart TV with Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, etc. There was air-con in all rooms too. I really enjoyed my stay here as it felt like I was staying in my own apartment instead of one that belonged to someone else. Amedeo had provided me with his contact number so I could reach him at any time if I needed anything at all, and he also helped arrange a taxi very early for the morning I was leaving as I had an early train and flight. Being a small town I also bumped into him a few times while strolling about, and each time he made sure to ask if I needed anything. Montepulciano is a lovely little town with many cafés and restaurants, and lots of little knick-knack shops for souvenirs, and is perfect for a relaxing stroll at any time of the day, although be forewarned that the town is hilly and very steep in places. It is also a perfect location to explore the incredibly beautiful Tuscany countryside either by bike or by car. Thanks for a great stay and for all your help Amedeo. Hopefully I can return again next year!
