Very hospitable hosts. Great breakfast cooked by the hosts. They had excellent coffee from their own coffee farm! We felt like at home for the 3-night stay.

It's a bed and breakfast owned by Joaquin and Maria, a couple of senior Ticos very friendly. They always try to help their best. 13 rooms but some are used from long term clients. It's a 5 mn walk from Monteverde center up a small hill. The room I occupied alone has a double bed and one single, was bright with a window looking to the garden, large and the double bed very comfortable. The large bathroom was also naturally well lit from the roof. Hot water. This room is well decorated with paintings from Maria herself. Strong Wi-Fi. There is no noise at all. No dogs, no cars. The breakfast is personally cooked by Joaquin and Maria. It's delicious. This house is completely clean from floor to ceiling. These lovely people can give some tips and help for transportation. Quality and price incredible. They told me they are renovating the family rooms, puting new windows.

A very homy and cozy environment. The family that runs this place is extremely welcoming, thoughtful and helpful. They helped me book some tours, arrange travel accommodations etc. The best part was waking up to a big healthy and tasty breakfast every morning. Would definitely bring my family here

Very friendly owners in a fantastic location. Breakfast is cooked on demand and filling; I was there three nights and had three different breakfasts that were all delicious. Easy location close to the centre of town.

Maria and Jacquin could not be more helpful. They booked all our tours and transport for us. Breakfast was amazing. The coffee served at breakfast is harvested a local farm is the best I've ever had.

I loved staying at this family-run hotel! The owners are such beautiful and kind people always ready to help. My room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable (amazing mattress and pillows). Breakfast was tasty and of really good quality. It was a pleasure to stay at Monte Los Lirios Lodge for 4 nights. Thank you so much for everything Mari and Joaquin, you made me feel at home! I will definitely come back soon :)
