Location was the best just next to the train station and a huge shoutout to the owner. He was nice, helpful, accommodating and made our stay enjoyable.

Absolutely charming hotel which was incredibly comfortable. Communal fridge available which was great. Loved the vibe of Montbovon with swiss cow bells, electric power plant and just general cuteness. Would stay again.

This was my second visit here. The accommodation is a little dated and a bit basic, but is pleasant, clean, good value and in a convenient location. We tried the evening meal one night, which was home cooked with local produce and very tasty, but needs to be reserved in advance. Railway station is just across the road, with scenic lines to Montreux and Zweissimen. The fascinating castle at nearby Gruyeres is well worth a visit.

Great place to stay and very friendly staff!! Lots of things to do only a small distance away from the hotel, strategically placed in the heart of La Gruyère. We will definitely come back when we are around!!
