beautiful room and pool in the vineyard and exceptional garden. I loved the separate breakfast area that looked onto the garden. very helpful host who booked our evening meal in a local restaurant for us.

Montagu is a charming Klein Karoo town on the R62. The Vineyard Country House is conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants and shops. My room was clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable, after a long day on the road. Estelle was an outstanding host. The breakfast was delicious. The only negative was the traffic noise from the R62.

The location is fantastic. The property makes you feel like you are in the middle of the countryside even though you are in the heart of the town. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast is one of the best you will have :)

Wonderful place to stay and feels like you are in a lovely home. Estelle was so welcoming and served a delicious breakfast with warm banana bread. Great location and walkable to all town attractions and restaurants.

Beautiful position close to town but with a view of vineyards and mountains and a nice size pool for sunning. Lovely room. We had a room with a garden and privacy. Lovely staff and delicious breakfast. Overall a memorable stay.
