It was very hot during December, and with no AC, it was difficult to sleep. The cool mountain breeze and the fact that we could sleep with open windows and doors helped a lot. Jolandie and Jo were amazing hosts, and we had a table booked at one of the local restaurants (22 Church) without even asking. This was an unexpected "going the extra mile". The food was amazing. We enjoyed the garden and a short walk at the foot of the mountain. The location is excellent, as we could drive to neighbouring towns like Robertson, Swellendam and Ceres. CapeDry is a must-visit as the dried fruit and nuts are well-priced and delicious.

Great views of the surrounding mountains. Very comfortable room and easy access to breakfast area and other facilities on the farm-like property.

Staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to assist if we had a question or request. Breakfasts were delicious and made in-house. The staff were accommodating of halal dietary restrictions. The room was comfortable and clean and included all the amenities you may need during your stay. Would recommend if you are looking for a relaxing getaway. Well-kept facilities including pools and easy access to several hiking trails kept us busy.

We loved being basically in the nature reserve, the staff and fact that there were two pools to choose from in the heat.

Loved the peaceful setting, with terrace looking out onto the bush view. The room was very comfortable and facilities good with nice little luxuries like the in-house bathroom toiletries. Breakfast was excellent with home baked sourdough bread, cereal, fruit and hot food served on the lovely terrace. Staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful with things to do and booking dinners etc.

The wonderful friendly staff especially Joy who welcomed us and was so pleasant and helpful. The dogs were so lovely and we enjoyed the swimming pool area.
