1) charming house, antique interior , cozy atmosphere. It gives you very warm feelings; 2) amazing view from the balcony. When you open eyes in the morning and see this unbelievable beauty, you are filled up with happiness and peace; 3) air conditioning and hot shower are great. It’s important in December in the city which is windy and cold because of stones everywhere; 4) the breakfast is limited, but you have it almost in the bed 🙂(in your room) . For us it was enough, since we don’t eat more than that in the morning. And everything was fresh, just cooked ; 5) payment is in cash, but we got message about it from the owner, so we were prepared, anyway ATM is not far. By the way in this place and all around you will need cash everywhere; 6) the streets are narrow, so you will park somewhere not close to hotel, be ready for that as well; 7) you have to have this experience, it’s adorable

The property was very charming and comfortable. The view in the evening from the patio was exceptional. Breakfast in the morning was outstanding!

I wouldn’t describe the room as a king suite but it was very cosy and comfortable. You enter into a. Communal living room which is very inviting a kind of medical theme. From there you enter your room. The room is quite small but cosy. The bed and bedding was extremely comfortable and the shower was excellent. There was no hairdryer or coffee and tea facilities but we were prepared for that from other reviews. There was the all important cork screw though. The little balcony looked out for miles. Breakfast was delivered on time and was lovely. Hot coffee, hot milk, bread, butter, jam, meat and cheese and orange juice. The church bells start at 6am but you would here them from any accommodation in Monsanto. We did have the door open. Maybe if the door was closed they wouldn’t have sounded so loud. Overall a great little place to stay, ideally located on the mountain. We would go back.
