Great location at the lake and in the nature. At night u hear the hippos. If u lucky you can even spot one. Some monkeys are also around. Good possibility for hikes and canoeing. Delicious food and fair prices.

Felix and the rest of the staff were lovely and welcoming. Everything was clean and as expected in the photos, and the lake was lovely to swim in and the food was tasty.

Beautiful, magical location. Very comfy bed & good quality mozzie net. Nice bar, good evening meals available, nice rocks to scramble up for majestic 360 views. Very kind staff.

I loved the fact that it was right by the water and there was a little hike you could do to get an aerial view of the bays. Stunning. The staff were super nice! Felix, the manager was kind, helpful and made the stay feel at home.

I recently spent a couple of unforgettable days at Musafa Eco Lodge at Monkey Bay, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Despite the flooding of Lake Malawi, the team has done an incredible job making the lodge safe and comfortable for all guests. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and friendly smiles. The manager, Felix, was exceptionally helpful and ensured that all my needs were met. The activities offered were a highlight of my stay. I thoroughly enjoyed the boat trip on the lake with Andrew, who is an amazing guide with extensive knowledge of the area. The walk to the village with Adam was equally delightful, providing an insightful and enriching experience. One of the most impressive aspects of Musafa Eco Lodge is the food. Despite being nestled in the bush, the culinary offerings were exceptional. Every meal was a delicious surprise, adding to the overall enjoyment of my stay. In summary, my three days at Musafa Eco Lodge were among the best I've had anywhere in a long time. I am incredibly grateful to the team for their hospitality and can't wait to return when I get the chance. Thank you for an amazing experience!
