Hotel Overview

The Mönichwalderhof enjoys a scenic location in Mönichwald in Eastern Styria. It offers a spa area with an indoor pool, and a large garden with a children’s playground. All rooms have a balcony overlooking the surrounding countryside.
The spa area includes a sauna, a steam bath, an infrared cabin, and Kneipp facilities. Guests can also relax on the sun terrace and hire snowshoes and Nordic walking sticks free of charge. Tennis courts are just across the street, and a swimming lake is a 3-minute walk away.
Hotel Mönichwalderhof’s spacious rooms feature bright wooden furniture and include a flat-screen TV, a seating area, and a bathroom with hairdryer. Free WiFi is available in some rooms.

The location was great, it was very nice, clean and quiet. Our room was comfortable and the food was delicious as well. The swimming pool was really great, as well as the sauna. Staff was very lovely! I definitely recommend!

We were in this hotel for the first time 15 years ago. We still had a good time. The hotel was still adequate for our expectations. We celebrated our marriage anniversary. I ordered a flower and a bottle of sweet champagne. We arrived first, but there was no problem to book our room. We also got lunch. Dear Hungarian -speaking waiter helped and answered all our questions. His instructions were perfect. We had a half pansio, but as long as we were there, we got lunch and got cakes in the afternoon. The food was delicious and abundant. The pool was a pleasant temperature.

We stayed in one of the new rooms. The room was very big, big bathroom, big balcony, modern with very comfortable beds and sofa. Food was delicious. Dog friendly hotel. We especially enjoyed the late check out (we left about 4pm). I also enjoyed the facial treatment and pedicure with Mrs. Rita and the massage with Mrs. Verena (not sure if spelled correctly). Great place to chill out.
