A lovely hotel in the centre of Molde where even though the building may be old, the rooms are pretty up to date with large flatscreen TV etc. Lady at the check in was also friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a very good spread of items, usually when I think of breakfasts at European hotels of such standard, it is a limited Continental selection. Here there is a waffle station, numerous juices, various breads & bakes and some hot items. We enjoyed the complimentary hot drinks available from the machine at the reception too.

Parking is convenient and free. Location is just outside the shopping street. High floor Rooms with balcony facing the fjord is definitely worth it. Was lucky enough to see the Northern Lights too.

Really good breakfast with a lot of options. Breakfast hall has a nice “old timely” vibe to it. Staff were very nice.

Easy access. No garage for the bikes but managed to park them in the front of the hotel.

Overall standard was fine. Not the cleanest room - remote control was so filthy I didn’t want to touch it. The staff were fine. When checking in I was wrongly told I had not paid (I took this at face value because he seemed certain but later checked and found that my credit card had been charged at booking). Reception eventually able to reverse the charge. Breakfast was very good - good choice and quality.
