The owners were very friendly but dud not speak any English. No problem for me my second language is Spanish but could be a problem for others.

Friendly small hotel near the sea, with restaurants nearby and a supermarket not far away. Clean and comfortable room, with good wifi and a bath. I had breakfast in the cafeteria - standard Spanish, toast and jam.

Very close to the sea. Nice walk along sea front. Plenty of restaurants close by. It was very quiet and the staff were extremely nice. My wife mistakenly thought that she had left her iPad and the staff searched the room for it without any hesitation. A visit to the old town is highly recommended in our opinion.

Maria who owns and works on reception is incredible to deal with, she speaks very little English but don't let that put you off as she's very patient and between the little bit of Spanish I know and Google translate it wasn't a problem for us (we actually quite enjoyed it) this is a gem of a hotel, both me and my partner work in hotel industry and travel fair bit and find most hotels bit same old same old but Sal Marina is beautifully traditional and immaculately clean, it dead centre of mojacar strip so easy access to where ever you want to visit, it doesn't have a car park but Maria takes you outside and explains where you can park (right next to hotel), Our room again was spacious, traditional and had a beautiful balcony overlooking the beach, had state of the art Aircon/heating, nice bathroom (again immaculately clean) with great shower, will definitely be returning

Good location with access to bars and restaurants. Lovely sea view from room balcony. Owner friendly and helpful. The hotel was spotlessly clean.

It is a lovely Spanish hotel the couple who run it are lovely, language was a bit of a challenge as they didn’t speak English and I didn’t speak Spanish.
