Handy location for Cradle Mountain National Park, only a 20/25 min drive to the visitor centre. Fairly basic accommodation and quite expensive for what you're getting but most things in the area seem to be quite pricey. The cabin had a fridge, microwave, kettle, crockery and cutlery. No hotplate/hob so cooking facilities are limited. The cafe next door was a great place to get a barista coffee in the mornings. The walls are quite thin and you could hear people talking in the adjoining chalets. My room had lots of flies in it - lots alive on the ceiling and also lots of dead flies on the surfaces. Would benefit from a deep clean - dead flies and cobwebs on the windowsills.

Great location to access Cradle Mountian for day walks, and still close to other regions we wanted to visit too. Having a kitchenette and heater was great. Very pretty bush setting.

Being able to get an evening meal there, delivered to the door, was wonderful. Feeding of the wallabies outside the huts was an unexpected extra surprise. Such friendly staff and bonus wine and beer tasting was great.

Peaceful surroundings. Very friendly hostess. Possibility of simple home cooked meals if ordered, and although the cafe closes at 3, our hostess could arrange food to be delivered. Comfortable bed. Wifi adequate for our needs. There is a heater in the room so we were warm and cosy. Enough plates, bowls and cutlery to self cater if you brought provisions.

The stay was great. the room was very clean and spacious. The owner went out of her way to be helpful and provide lovely meals when it was not necessary but helpful for us.

Lovely chalet around 25 mins from Cradle Mountain. Cosy apartment with comfy beds and clean bathroom. Attentive host. Has a cafe attached to the apartments which was great for breakfast in the morning, with great coffee.
