Lovely room with balcony directly at Modena train station. Very helpful and friendly hosts. I was a bit unsure about the external but private bathroom, but that worked very well and was spotless clean. I was looking for a place close to the train station, therefore it was perfect.

The check-in was performed online and I never met any staff. Got all required information via WhatsApp, and communication went smoothly. The room was nice and as expected. I however travelled during a fairly rainy and humid period and would have appreciated a more efficient hair-dryer. For one's hair no problem, but washed a few items and had to be very patient to get them dry. I did not book the breakfast so I cannot comment on this one. The place is just outside the train station which makes it very convenient, not only for train travellers but also for those wanting to visit Ferrari's museums, as there is a shuttle bus starting twice a day from the central station. The first museum is within walking distance though (~5+min). The second one is in Maranello, so direct shuttle is highly appreciated. The apartment is however about 15min from Modena center, but that was fine.

The hosts were very accommodating, making extra sure I was comfortable and had access to food after my late arrival. They also picked me up from Bologna airport after my other plans fell through last minute (for a reasonable cost). The area near the station is safe and convenient

Very close to the train station so not far to lug the bags.
