Some of the nicest accommodation food I had during my entire trip. We was graciously upgraded to the honeymoon suite after a casual chat with the friendly owner Micheal. Our room before the upgrade was amazing but the suite was unreal! All the staff there were super kind and friendly. You can tell the owner takes pride in this place, taking the time to meet each guest and have welcoming chats with them. The place as a whole is stunning, with lots of tropical plants and trees everywhere and a big swimming pool. It really made our entire trip! We also snorkelled with turtles on multiple occasions right outside the back of the resort which opens up to a coral reef just 30 meters offshore. We didn't scuba dive due to timing, but their facilities looked great! And its only a short walk down the coast to a more busy area with lovely beaches and bars.

All was amazing :) Charming little resort with all that you need. We loved it there. You can snorkel right in front of the resort and enjoy the underwater world. They offer many attractions, including "all popular" around that area. Most importantly, the staff is really amazing, everything that you need can be organized in no time.

Very nice view with snorkling possibility right in front of the Hotel. The rooms were also nice and clean. Also there was a Dive center in the Hotel itself.

Beautiful room with full sliding doors opening onto the balcony overlooking the sea, quite air-con (which is rare ),excellent snorkelling on your doorstep, pool also great . As it is in the pictures.

Very peaceful place. Yummy food/drinks and good service if you order drinks or food to your room or to the sunbathing area. Room clean and no bugs (good net above bed). Overall good service for most requests (see below for just one very weird/negative example).

What a beautiful location, staff were fantastic, its ideal for a getaway to see the natural beauty of Moalboal. Its more remote location makes it ideal to recharge. The food was extremely basic and not always at its freshest. There were only a couple of dishes that I thought passed the test of being ok to serve. The bathrooms are really really basic and when cleaned, not to a standard a bathroom should be cleaned. The room had very very little in. Very hard to charge electrical items without plugs near bedside tables. The bed was extremely noisy when rolling over. Good nets were provided over the beds. The location and the staff give this place a real charm and is ideal for water lovers. I would recommend but understand that you must travel to eat quality food and the rooms are extremely basic.

The Blue Orchid has a very special warm hearted and easy going atmosphere. You are not just a guest, the beautiful team around owner Michael and his family make you feel very welcomed and as staying with friends. The resort is located quiet and peaceful north of the center right at the ocean. I ate quite often in the resort because I loved the kitchen and prices are absolutely reasonable. My spacious and clean room was facing the ocean with a little terrace in front. I had no diving experience so I used the opportunity to learn diving there. Instructor Cristina did a great job and showed me the beauty of the underwater world.
