Excellent stay in Moalboal. The host and his staff do everything to make your stay pleasant. Close to the centre of the village and to the beach where you can snorkel with the Sardines. The area around the property is well-maintained and the rooms are spotlessly clean.

Absolutely loved my stay here, location was amazing as it is right around the corner from the famous sardine run and has so many turtles! There is also lots of bars/ restaurants beside the guesthouse. The staff were so lovely, gave great recommendations, we also got laundry done and it was very clean/fresh. This place was very personalised and we absolutely loved our stay here. I highly recommend staying at roos guesthouse if you are coming to moalboal!

Wonderful guesthouse! So very much worth the price! Such a great service and kindness of the staff! We got a welcome soft drink and explanations of the activities to do around. The accommodation was very clean. Hand soap and shower soap available. The breakfast is included and you can take it with no time limit! You have different choices and it is sooo delicious! My girlfriend had the best fried eggs ever. Coffea and tea for free all the time. They do the laundry at the hostel. The scooter we rented through the guesthouse was in good shape and good price. There was a handbook with explanations of how exactly to go to the next stop (ex: Siquijor) with durations and prices.

I had a great stay at Roos, i can say that i enjoyed everything. The inner courtyard is very chill and has a nice vibe, the AC is perfect, great value for money and super tasty local breakfast cooked by them(try the sardines one). Wifi speed was great and most important, the staff is super friendly and they also helped me with booking of private transfers at good prices. Totally would recommend!

Roos is in a great location, the rooms are very clean and the staff are amazing. The breakfast is fantastic and I would recommend it 100%. I stayed there with my teenage daughter and it was great for both of us. Quiet street but close to everything

Excellent location ideal for day trips and local swimming and visiting local restaurants. Smaller place giving a far more personal service. Airport transfers were great...a longer trip than you make think due mainly to city traffic.

What a gem! We loved staying at the Roos Guesthouse and honestly we can only add to the great reviews. The place is extremely well maintained, rooms are cleaned everyday and the breakfast is super nice. You can feel safe with the night guard and during the day the staff is there to help you with everything you need! Most importantly, the location is great - walking distance to the snorkeling spot and main restaurants and bars in Moalboal. The owner, Werner can help you with everything - he organized canoyering for us, motorbike rental and guided us what to visit in the area. The communication was great from the beginning and we were able to prebook some activities via messages. We truly felt home away from home and would recommend staying at Roos House when you come to Moalboal!
