Perfect location. Staff were very friendly and it was easy to check-in. We had the family traditional room. We loved it but sleeping on the futons on the floor was a little hard on the old bodies. However we did enjoy the experience. Definitely recommend staying here.

Our room has the sea view and the view during early morning is beautiful. My daughter love coming downstairs early morning (before tourists arrive) to pat the deers roaming around. Peaceful before all the tourists for the day arrive. Also easy walk to Torii gate and temple.

Location. Miyajima was a highlight, but really because you had the window in the morning and evening when you had it to yourself. It was actually fun with the crowds during the day. Most visitors were Japanese tourists. Hotel is right beside the ocean and within 100m of the ferry terminal - so very convenient. Room was quiet - I believe we were in the only room on our floor that did not have a view of the ocean, so more away from the busy street - a negative and a plus. I liked the peacefulness of our room. Convenient laundry facilities on the floor. Staff were very friendly.

We stayed on the 5th floor, but the elevator only went to level 4. Aside from that everything was absolutely wonderful. The staff were super helpful, the facilities were great, the breakfast was good value for money, the location was excellent. It was a great stay.

Sakura is on the beautiful island of Miyajima. We were lucky that we got a room on the top floor. The view from the room is facing the ocean and the torii gate of Itsukushima Shrine. The staff are very friendly. The location is 5 to 10 mins walk from the ferry station. And minutes away from the famous shrine.

Perfect stay, large room, impeccably clean, comfortable futon and quilts and friendly, helpful staff. The location is excellent- walking distance to everything. I’d come back in a heartbeat
