Amazing place. Great location. Take the path to the daishoin temple through the park. Lovely rooms and onsen. Really amazing place to explore Miyajima from, slightly away from the crowds.

I'd have stayed longer only it was booked out. This guest house is lovely, the staff were super and it was so homely. I really liked the atmosphere of this place, highly recommend

We were shown all the facilities on checkin, so that was helpful to find everything. Staff were very happy and helpful. The breakfast and dinner supplied was a great extra as most things are closed on the island. The common room is beautiful with large windows looking out to the garden so a lovely view while eating meals and sitting around.

Loved how homely it was. Got to meet other travellers in the common area where my kids enjoyed activities such as origami and calligraphy. Simple breakfast and dinner but nice and sufficient. Good location, beautiful island.

Super friendly and helpful. Wonderful place. Great vibe. Guitars and Piano available. Two onsen. Breakfast and vegan dinner was included. I fully recommend staying here for at least one night l. Go for a hike and enjoy the quiet island in the early morning and evening.

We love the Miyajima guest house, the staff was super friendly, the location was great, the common areas were beautiful! We also really enjoyed the dinner and breakfast. Overall the only negative was that we only stayed one night, would love to come back and stay at least two nights in the future. ❤️

The Location was great. The property was homely and authentic. Dinner was quite good and nice to be included. Luggage storage during day was helpful.

This is one of the best places I've stayed at on my trip to Japan This guesthouse has hotel rooms but I stayed in a hostel room. That being said I was really impressed with what I got. Most places on Miyajima are very expensive to stay at. Miyajima guest house isn't and what I get alongside that is are some brilliant facilities for what I'm paying! There is modern and an old school Onsen you can use. This is a delight to have after an entire day on your feet. It does cost 500yen an hour to use the old school Onsen and you do need to book it at the guesthouse reception, but it is very much worth that! An advantage of staying directly in Miyajima is that you also avoid the tourist rush in the middle of the day and pretty much have the island all to yourself in the morning/evenings which is an amazing experience to have given how utterly flooded Miyajima gets with tourists If I am staying in Miyajima again, this is where I am staying!

Lovely staff. Garden was nice. Dinner was great. Could leave our bags at the facility when we went hiking. Common area was comfortable. Nice traditional rooms.
